Rochester, New York Convicted Felon Indicted For Illegally Possessing Firearm

As the result of an ongoing investigation led by the FBI with the assistance of the New York State Police, Alexander Dehoyos, 40, of Rochester, New York, was charged by a felony indictment Thursday with one count of illegally possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.

Dehoyos allegedly possessed a Glock firearm in Onondaga County, New York, on June 5, 2022, after having previously been convicted of a felony. 

The charge in the indictment is merely an accusation. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
