“Kidd Creole” Convicted Of Manslaughter In The First Degree

Today a New York Supreme Court jury found Nathaniel Glover a/k/a “Kidd Creole” guilty of Manslaughter in the First Degree.

In 2017, Glover was walking on East 43rd Street between Lexington and Third Avenues when he had a verbal altercation with 55-year-old John Jolly.

Glover walked past Jolly, then turned around, approached Jolly and stabbed him twice in the torso with a steak knife.

Jolly was found in the street and was transported to an area hospital where he died of his stab wounds.

Glover left the scene and fled two blocks away to his place of work. There, he changed his clothing and cleaned the knife in an office sink. About 15 minutes later, the Glover left, boarded the subway, and disposed of the knife in a sewer near a Bronx subway station.

The following day, NYPD officers recovered the knife and arrested Glover at his home in the Bronx.

Glover is expected to be sentenced on May 4, 2022.
